I don't buy CD's anymore. Not at all. It's not only because I hate the RIAA, it's also because music today is growing less and less unique and original. Seems like a buch of the songs and bands (groups, DJ's, whatever) in each genre now are sounding more and more like one another. I know that the RIAA has some (if not all) of the influence on that but it is hard to find independant artists in stores like WareHouse Music and Best Buy. They may be there but it is hard to tell them apart. Plus, I have explored some of the bands and DJ's there on Dmusic to get a taste of the independant scene but I am just not feelin it yet. I am trying though. It will just take time to pull myself away from the mindless tosh that is barfed from the RIAA that I have come so acustomed to.
